I am .NET Developer at Genuine, a digital marketing agency in Boston. I am a Sitecore Certified Professional Developer and an Episever Certified Developer, and I have a strong interest in web technologies and advertising. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science minor from Northeastern University in Boston. When I’m not working or taking classes, you can usually find me at a concert or enjoying a craft beer.
Work
As a Northeastern student, I had the opportunity to participate in three 6-month co-op positions. I completed my second and third co-ops as a .NET Co-op at Genuine, a digital agency based in Boston, MA. In my time at Genuine, I participated in the development of many websites using platforms such as Sitecore and Umbraco.
For my first co-op I spent 6 months at a small startup named Viridian Spark. Viridian Spark was an implementer of Content Management Systems (CMS). At Viridian Spark, I was a member of the back-end development team. My duties included the creation of data templates and html renderings, bug fixing and support, daily scrums with the client, and end of sprint presentations of the work I had built. Viridian Spark was recently acquired by Verndale.
In previous summers (I think the count is up to 7) I worked as a Programming/Product Management Intern at Aras Corporation. Aras Corporation is a provider of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management software. My responsibilities at Aras varied each summer. I led development of two separate Silverlight applications. The first was a timesheet application to be used by internal contractors. The second was a Customer Relationship Management application designed for use by Aras’s partners. While at Aras, I also contributed to the development of a custom CMS platform built on Aras’s Innovator framework. Most recently, I was involved in the re-engineering of the Aras Community Forums. Originally based on a third-party system, the forums were redesigned to be driven by Innovator as well.
